All customers from Matetea.at have 2 years of warranty. We withdraw the money from the customer's card when the item(s) has been sent. Payment methods include: VISA & Mastercard, Bancontact and iDeal.
1) What does Matetea.at use your personal information for?
We only use your address to be able to send you the ordered goods.
Your e-mail address is used for written communication, if we can not contact you by phone. Your telephone number is used by our customer service, if anything unexpected happens to your order and we have to involve you. In addition, your phone number acts as your unique customer number in our customer database.
All information will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties.
If you want all your personal information to be deleted from our system, please contact email@example.com.
2) Shopping at matetea.at
All orders / payments are made through the website.
Yerba mate: all prices are incl. 10% VAT and in EUR. The prices are only valid within Austria’s borders.
All other products: all prices are incl. 20% VAT and in EUR. The prices are only valid within Austria’s borders.
Prices are daily prices. Purchase agreements are entered into in German.
Matetea.at & Matetea ApS distances itself from any errors in prices or similar indications. We have the rights to cancel the order / withdraw it.
4) Sales in general
The stated price at the time of ordering is the applicable ordering price.
You have the following payment options:
When paying with a Mastercard / VISA credit card, the money will be deducted from your card when your order is processed. We never deduct more from your card than the value of the items sent to you.
6) Shipping and forwarding
All items are shipped with GLS. Shipping prices depend on the chosen shipping solution.

Free delivery on all orders above EUR 55
The handling costs are EUR 00.00 per. expedition.
Orders will always be shipped as Track & Trace.
Your order will usually be received 1-3 business days after your payment is completed in our system.
Orders placed Friday afternoon / evening as well as Saturday & Sunday, will be packed and sent on Monday and arrive no later than Wednesday.
8) Right of withdrawal
You have a 60-days right of withdrawal when you shop at Matetea.at.
The cancellation period expires 60 days after the day we made the agreement.
You must notify us within 60 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be given to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 60 days after ordering. In your message, you must make it clear to us that you wish to use your right of withdrawal, whereafter we will send you a return label.
You can not regret by simply refusing to receive the item without at the same time giving us clear notice of this. If the package is not received or is not picked up at GLS, you will be charged the full shipping cost and costs associated with the return.
You must send your order back to Matetea without undue delay and no later than 60 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct costs of returning the item. You are responsible for the item being packed properly. You bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery of the item. We will refund your payment when we receive the goods at our warehouse. The cost of return is expected to be approx. 5,5 EUR.

The following types of goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal, cf. the Consumer Contracts Act, section 18, subsection. 2, No. 5:
Delivery of sealed goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
Therefore, you lose your right of withdrawal if; You break the seal on items that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.
In the event of a return, you are responsible for the goods being packed properly, you further bear the risk for the goods from the time of delivery of the goods. As well as the costs associated with the return.
The right of withdrawal can only be used if the item is returned in substantially the same condition, the right of withdrawal lapses if the item has been used in a way that significantly reduces the sales value. Used products are therefore not returned. The goods are also returned in original packaging, if this is not met, the sales value will be impaired and based on an assessment made by Matetea ApS, you will be charged an amount corresponding to the deterioration.
If the item has been tried in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back.
Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will of course get back the amount you paid to us. In the event of an impairment for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount. We will refund when we have received the item / items returned.
We can withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you can provide us documentation of returning it to Matetea.
When you shop at www.matetea.at, you of course have a 24 month right to make a complaint. This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
It is, of course, a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior. The right of complaint applies to manufacturing defects, not tear due to use.
One or more of Matetea.at's products are unique, as they are made of a material (pumpkin), which by nature varies in size and appearance. This variation in the appearance of the product is not covered by the right of complaint.
You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the item. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.
